✅ What is Support and What Does It Cover?

Support services are different from AMC. Think of support as a “help desk” you can contact when something goes wrong, or if you need immediate assistance. While AMCs are proactive (preventing issues), support is reactive (solving issues when they arise).

Types of Support Services

  1. Technical Support:

    • Fixing issues like website errors, broken links, or images not loading.

  2. Content Support:

    • Adding new content, products, or updates as per your request.

  3. Consultation:

    • Providing advice on website improvements or digital marketing strategies.

  4. Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnosing why something isn’t working and finding a solution.

  5. Training Support:

    • Assisting your team in using WordPress or managing basic tasks.

Support Charges

  • Hourly Support: You pay only when you need assistance. Ideal for minor, occasional issues.

  • Retainer Support: You pay a fixed monthly fee for a certain number of hours of support. Recommended if you need regular updates or assistance. (Most MST clients must have an active retainer support hours)

  • Incident-Based Support: You pay per issue or problem resolved. Good for one-time fixes.

Which One Do You Need?

  • If your website is critical for your business, an AMC ensures regular maintenance and keeps it running without interruptions.

  • If you need occasional help with minor tasks or fixes, Support Services may be sufficient.

  • Many businesses combine both: An AMC for regular care and support for unexpected issues.

1. Check you Support contract, typically customer will buy support hours in advance.
2. Support hours will expire at the end of 31 December of the year for which support has been paid for.
3. Once you support hours bucket is exhausted, customer will have to purchase another bucket of hours in prepaid advance mode.
